At O'Neill International, we want all students to experience the academic and personal growth that comes from studying abroad. If finances are a barrier to your ability to participate in an international program, we look forward to helping you. Generally we encourage the following first steps:
Choose an overseas program that works with your budget
- We have programs at a variety of price points, from $0 to $4000.
Apply for scholarships that can off-set some of your expenses
- Visit our scholarship page to learn more about need-based and merit-based awards. Note that O'Neill has a culture of providing strong aid packages to students with financial need doing O'Neill International programs.
Forecast the costs
- Build a budget to try to anticipate all of your costs up front. Work to understand funding options and develop a plan for saving money leading up to the program. Remember that tuition, flight, and daily expenses are typically not not included in our program fees
