- Explore our available spring break programs online.
- If you have questions about a specific program- please email oio@iu.edu to set up an appointment.
- Meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your international experience will count toward your IUPUI degree.
- Apply online! Applications open September 15 and are due October 15. You can find the "Apply Now" button on each program page.
- Submit your O’Neill International scholarship application (optional).The deadline to apply for all O'Neill spring break scholarships is the same date as the application is due (October 15).
- Check your IU email account. All students will be notified of their acceptance decision via IU email. All students will be notified of their acceptance decision by mid-October.
- After your acceptance into a program, you will receive an email with documents that must be signed and submitted. Failure to return any of these documents by the listed deadline can result in your acceptance being revoked.
- Register for corresponding IUB O'Neill study abroad course. You will receive permission for this course and an email with detailed instructions on how to enroll at IUB after you accept your spot on the program.
- Complete a Consortium Agreement through the IUI Office of Student Financial Services. This allows you to receive financial aid on another IU campus. Learn more about it here.

- Apply Online! The application is open November 1 - December 15. The application requires one essay response and two short answers, a resume, and an optional letter of recommendation.
- Submit your O’Neill International scholarship application (optional). The priority deadline to apply for all O'Neill summer scholarships is the same date as the application is December 15.
