There are many funding opportunities to help you pay for your overseas experience, including scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loans. Each year, the O'Neill School gives over $300,000 to help students study abroad on O'Neill International programs. In addition, students from across IU received over $9 million last year in scholarships, fellowships, grants, and federal loans to fund international opportunities. The biggest advantage to applying for scholarships, fellowships, and grants is that it doesn't need to be paid back! It is free money to help you study abroad.
