Go global with your education

The O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs offers a variety of study abroad experiences that are open to students from all majors and IU campuses. You can spend from one week up to a full semester overseas earning IU credit hours that can count toward your degree.

Although these opportunities are designed with O’Neill students in mind, the course topics are often of interest to a diverse student body. On the Bloomington campus, many of our courses are pre-approved to count for the World Languages and Cultures general education requirement, ensuring that our O’Neill International experiences are valuable to all undergraduate degree programs. At IUPUI, as well as the regional campuses, students from across academic disciplines have been successful at getting our courses to fulfill a variety of degree requirements.

When you take your education overseas, you open yourself to professional development and personal growth opportunities beyond what is gained in a traditional classroom. Study abroad with us and experience it yourself!
